IMPACT

WELLfed WORKS
POSITIVE CHANGE

Since 2016, WELLfed has been transforming lives in Porirua through the simple, powerful act of sharing food and knowledge.

Through our hands-on cooking classes, community gardening, and practical wraparound support, Learners gain skills that boost confidence, support better health and well-being, and strengthen connections - preparing them for future opportunities at home, in the workforce, and in their communities.

Each year, our reach deepens, our numbers grow - and so do the stories of real, lasting, positive change.

Every number tells a story

Behind every meal, every class, and every hour volunteered is a person gaining skills, building confidence, and creating connections.

These numbers and stories represent real lives changed - we’re proud to show you what your support makes possible.

Off the streets.
Into mahi.
Changing his future.

Ripple effect of change

Whether it's someone cooking a healthy meal for their whānau for the first time, or stepping into a new job with confidence, the ripple effect of WELLfed spreads far beyond our kitchen.

Growing year by year

You’ll see our impact growing every year - more classes, more mouths fed, more connections made, and more confidence built. These are the stepping stones to real change and new opportunities for our Learners to grow.

That’s thanks to the collective effort of learners, volunteers, supporters, and donors.

Awards and Recognition

We’re proud when our mahi is recognised through nominations and awards - it’s a reflection of the heart our team and community put into everything we do.

Every acknowledgement helps shine a light on the power of connection, shared skills, and nourishing our community together.
